Why you are going on a mission? Testimony, or Other Comments: I am going on a mission so I can be an instrument in the Lord’s hands and bless the lives of others. I was not raised in this church. Had it not been for a young man from California deciding to accept his call to the Referral Center Mission, I would not have the Gospel in my life. I love the Gospel and the blessings that I see from it every day. I hope that I can bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ as restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith to someone who needs it. I can’t wait to share my testimony with someone who needed it like I did. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true and living church of God. It is led by a modern-day prophet who receives revelation directly from the Savior. I am excited to “invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.” I know that this is what my Heavenly Father wants me to be doing and I am so happy that I have made the decision to serve, and join the Royal Army of our God

Why you are going on a mission? Testimony, or Other Comments: I know that the worth of souls is great in the eyes of the Savior. Two and a half years ago the savior placed me in the path of two lads who were beacons and tools for the Lord. They gave of their time to show me the love Jesus has for me. I know the church is true as the many blessings I have had have proven that to me time again and I want others to be able of enjoy those blessings of church membership. To feel the love of the Savior and know Heavenly Father’s will for their life.

Why you are going on a mission? Testimony, or Other Comments: I’ve been given/blessed so much…if there was a chance to repay our Heavenly Father back for all he has done for me, I’d jump at it right away. This is my chance to bless the life of someone with Security only the Gospel can bring, as well as pay Heavenly Father, even a little back for his blessings.

Why you are going on a mission? Testimony, or Other Comments: I am so thankful for this opportunity and blessing it is to serve the Lord with all of my heart, might, mind, and strength! It can be a strenuous work at times, but it pays off every single day. The feeling that I receive while inviting others to come unto Christ is something unexplainable. I am so happy for this opportunity.

Why you are going on a mission? Testimony, or Other Comments: I just want to boast about the Lord for a moment. I know that He lives and that He atoned for all of our sins. Through Him anything is possible. With that being said: I’ll be 381 days old in the church when I enter the MTC. That’s little over a year old. Since my conversion I’ve loved sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ every moment that I could. I’m very thankful that I now have the opportunity to share the Gospel with others as it was shared to me.

MTC Entry Date: 03/january/2013

Hometown: Bogotá, Colombia

Why you are going on a mission? Testimony, or Other Comments: I knew I had to serve to my Lord but did not know when neither where. It is not about the place or something like that, It is about to serve and when I noted that the Lord found me worthy to work in his work made me so happy, my authority will be above than kings on earth for two years. More than serve to my Lord, he will mold me; it’s more what he gives me than I to him. I am so grateful and I want to be now on my mission!

Why you are going on a mission? Testimony, or Other Comments: I’m serving a mission because God has given me much and I want to share His gospel, His good news with others.

It is my testimony that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Eternal Father, the Lord God of Israel, and my Redeemer. I am saved by His grace alone and I am committed in word and deed to living after His example.

I know that God the Father lives and desires for us to be with Him once more. I know that he loved us so much that he sent His Only Begotten to redeem us. I know that if we prove faithful and repent of our sins, we can gain all the Father hath, as he has promised.

I have a firm testimony that Joseph Smith was a prophet of the Lord. He was simply that – the Lord’s chosen servant to usher in the Restoration of His church. He is nothing more that a prophet and nothing less than a man qualified by God to do the work of the Lord.

I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that the Bible is the word of God as far as it is translated correctly. I revere both of those books as precious and irreplaceable canon. I grow and learn by heeding the commandments of the Lord as given in those testaments.

I know that I belong to that same Church which Christ himself established in his days. The same organization that existed in the primitive church and the same authority by which to act in the name of the Lord is present again today. I shout for joy to know that God’s words have not ceased and that he truly doeth nothing save he revealeth it to his servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).

I am grateful to the Lord for all I have.

I leave this witness in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
